You are likely correct. The hypocrisy and double standards are wild.

As far as James Carville is concerned, good riddance.

He is irrelevant.

I can’t imagine Schumer supporting AES. But I’m not sure it would change the calculation anyway.

You are absolutely correct. The fact that some centrist Democratic money people are planning to spend millions to defeat Progressives makes me sad and even angry.

Excellent, again. Thank you.

And who were the six Democrats who recently voted with Republicans to pass the 1.5 trillion NDAA, which would permanently merge US and Israeli military and intelligence, bypassing Congressional oversight? “Moderate” Democrats. And the nine Democrats who recently voted with Republicans to pass the Save Act? Of course, “ Moderate” Democrats. Time to stop calling them moderates

With few exceptions, several Democrats have been moving to the center/ right of center, or further to the right (Manchin, Synema, now Fetterman.... correction, fudderman).

As this has been going on, the Republicans have actually gone further to the right, as they have been embracing the Neo-Nazi/white-nationalist-supremacist bunch.

Why have Democrats been doing this? In order to win some of the Republican voters; and yet, I recall an article about a conservative politician who claimed that when people have a choice between conservative or pseudo-conservative, they will choose conservative every time.

There is a reason that some Democrats are becoming more liberal/progressive. They see the results of conservative laws, policies and judicial rulings, that they are doing the most harm and damage to the most people in the nation. They have been listening to the people who have been on the receiving end of these things, thus, they are getting votes and winning some primaries.

There are still people who remember how things were, when FDR and Lyndon Johnson were trying to do the most good for the most people; thankfully, some Democrats understood those lessons and are responding. It may be socialism, but if it helps the most people, all the better.

Well, the good news is, the progressives are wiping the floor with establishment centrist candidates and incumbents. So in a couple of election cycles we will be free of most of the old guard Repub--uh, I mean corporate Dems. Now, if we can just vote in the kinds of numbers that will mitigate electronic vote fuckery...

Now the centrists need to come around to the progressives.
