This week escalated fear in many of us. Anxiety sky-rocketed. I felt it. But that is exactly what the fascists wanted us to feel. Fascists’ most successful product is the trafficking of fear. However, we cannot give into fear and let it take over. It doesn’t help and is a waste of time.

Now, is the time to double down. Why? Because we are winning. This week was both terrifying and gratifying.

The tactics used this week by this administration were directly out of the intimidation playbook all fascists use:

1. The current president instructed the US attorney general, in public, to indict his enemies simply because he wants revenge.
