Good Morning Folks,
I write this morning to ask you to sign the following petition to demand the release of a legal resident of the US who was merely supporting peace and following the law. He was picked up and jailed illegally.
I have never asked for you to sign a petition before, but we are a turning point where I believe if this man is not released, any American protester, activist or truly any citizen who the administration chooses to jail, will be. Trump, Rubio and Homan must be stopped.

And closer to home — In Chicago Noche Diaz and Leo Pargo were arrested by CPD in violation of their First Amendment rights. Noche was speaking to a receptive crowd during a protest from the top of a bus shelter on Wacker Drive directly across the river from Trump’s Chicago palace during a protest on immigration rights. Sports fans get on those bus shelters without arrest during celebrations. As Paul Street pointed out at a rally prior to the 3/11 hearing for Noche & Leo, there will likely be some St. Patrick’s Day parade celebrants on top of a shelter or two this weekend. In the past I’ve seen a protester get on top of a bus shelter during a pro Palestinian rally without arrest.
But Noche was arrested and detained, along with Leo Pargo.
Their message focused on stopping MAGA now, not waiting for further consolidation.
