White Women Need to Step Up: Be the Bulwark Against DHS and Protect Our Neighbors and Friends
I’ve been contemplating and grappling with this issue for months. While I have been going to protests in support of immigrants for decades, writing letters, working on petitions, and fundraising, I must admit that I have not yet been physically involved on the ground actively protecting people in jeopardy, in real time. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I would ever be in a position where I could help directly in an active situation involving immigrant injustice.
