In the case of pharmaceuticals much of the research is done in universities funded by the government. We then give the research to a pharmaceutical company who go through the process of getting drug approved. The government should have an equity in this product, we paid for the research.

So you think musk and trump, two brand new people to politics are the oligarchs that I've known have existed in this country for decades? The oligarchs do control everything and they have for a very long time. If musk and Trump were a part of them, the media would be telling us to love them because the oligarchs own the media.
What you're suggesting is that we just go back to business as usual. Let our agencies continue to fail audits and congress does nothing about it because they're failing these audits so they can become wealthy by stealing from us. Sorry Marie but we've tried your way time and time again. We've voted for your professional looking and speaking, media approved candidates over and over with zero change. They all stand up there, say the right things, promise us the world, get into office and feed the rich.
We demand change now! I don't care who has to be fired or what agencies dismantled or just put on hold throughout the audit. Change is happening whether the minority wants it to or not. If you can't stomach this, I suggest turning off the media and just sitting back and waiting while a new admin roots out all of these corrupt oligarchs and their paid for politicians.
